Original painting of tulips. I had just picked up the ashes of my late grandmother’s cat. I guess they are both late now, probably for the first time in either of their lives. With my little scoop of Spats on the studio table, I felt more whole than in a long time, as if they were both with me. Grammy and Spats are forever commemorated by these flowers. This painting is spiritually aromatic (but not actually scented, in case you’re sensitive) with essence of kindness, generosity, cream cheese gooeys, and warm cat.
